But with the protests “in mind,” the electric vehicle maker has decided that all other workers at the factory should also stay at home, RTL said. André Thierig, a senior manufacturing director at the Tesla factory, confirmed in a post on X Tuesday that there would be a “one-day planned production shutdown” Friday. “Without the explicit instruction and authority of your manager, access to the site or factory will not be possible,” the Tesla email reportedly said. No buses or trains will run to and from the factory between Thursday and Sunday because of the anticipated protests, Handelsblatt cited Tesla’s email as saying.

Police have so far identified just under 70,000 individual U.K. victims who entered their details onto a website linked to LabHost. LabHost obtained 480,000 credit card numbers, 64,000 PIN codes, as well as more than 1 million passwords used for websites and other online services, the Metropolitan Police said. CNN —Qatar Airways has avoided a lawsuit over an incident in which a number of female passengers were forced to undergo invasive medical examinations, after an Australian federal court dismissed the case Wednesday. On October 2, 2020, 13 Australian women were transiting through Doha airport in Qatar on their way to Sydney when they were taken off their Qatar Airways plane by members of the Qatari security services and subjected to physical examinations in ambulances on the airport tarmac. CNN has contacted Qatar Airways for comment. A 20-year-old man was stabbed in the city of Be'er Sheva in southern Israel, according to Israel's police and emergency services. Police said they received a report Friday morning about a stabbing attack at Be'er Sheva's central bus station. The attacker was "neutralized" on the spot and police forces are conducting searches for any additional risk, police said in a statement. Emergency services are treating the injured man, who is in mild condition with a stab wound, and taking him to hospital, Israel's emergency service, Magen David Adom (MDA), said in a separate statement.
